6-WEEK SLIM DOWN CHALLENGE - Session 6 Extended | for you late comers :) FEBRUARY 2012The 6-Week Slim Down is a fitness challenge that allows women to sample some of the hottest group exercise classes in her area with the goal of losing weight and improving her health and nutrition habits. Session 6 kicks off with a weigh in and introduction to a month and a half crusade that will include classes like yoga, pilates, boot camp and flirty fitness. Each week challengers will visit a new gym growing in intensity and difficulty as the weeks go by. BABY BUTTERFLIES - Internship ProgramOur interns -- or baby butterflies -- are a priceless part of our organization. Under the tutelage of the YSB staff, they come into the business cocoon and come out on the other end as an experienced, well-trained and effective social butterfly, with skills in marketing, public relations, sales, graphic design and the basic necessities of working in a professional environment. 6 WEEK SLIM DOWN CHALLENGE!

The best time to commit to a new fitness regimen is today. It just so happens that with the new year right around the corner, you may feel a little more inclined to make your "day one" start soon after the ball drops. Lucky for you, we have the perfect plan at the perfect time. Joining the Slim Down Challenge means you'll be in the running for being a graduate of a six week personal program that allows you to sample several gyms in your neighborhood, meet new friends and be well on your way to meeting your fitness and health goals. We've done it successfully for the past three years and we're ready to do it again this year for you! Here's What You Can Expect:The challenge is limited to a small group of women, like you, many who have never worked out before, cannot find the motivation to stay committed to a fitness routine or even worse, you get bored easily. No matter if you're looking to lose that troublesome final five pounds or kick-start your quest to lose a fierce fifty, we give you the tools by taking you on a six-week tour of a new gym each week. You'll track your weight, fitness and nutrition and we'll tweak you as you go to be sure you don't cheat. You'll sample classes that vary from yoga and pilates to boot camp and pole fitness. The goal is to get you to sample a little bit of everything so that you learn what you like or don't like about working out. We'll work hard to cater each session to our challengers so be thorough and open with us in your questionnaire so we can be sure to plan a session that you'll enjoy and you stick with it. Who Can Join:The Slim Down Challenge is open to women, 18 years old and older. We've had such a great turn-out in our past sessions, our groups range from women of all ages, interests and skill levels so it's a motivating, inspiring environment. We do ask that each registered challenger get physical fitness clearance or at least consult with a physician prior to beginning any class or workout. The classes will begin with low and moderate impact classes growing in intensity and difficulty each week to push you and your body to burn plenty of calories to lose weight.When Do You Start:After the pre-registration cut-off date, our team will review all submissions and select the top challengers to be invited to attend our pre-session meeting and weigh-in. We'll hold an informal informational meeting prior to the start of the session to get everyone on the same page. This meeting will include plenty of details on the schedule and participating gyms and the first weigh-in. Here you'll have a chance to ask any questions you may have and register for the challenge (but feel free to ask away in the meantime). About a week or two following the pre-session meeting, we'll begin week one of the six week challenge. What Else Do You Need To Know:The registration fee for the Slim Down Challenge is less than $9 per week. Your registration covers your administration fees, class passes and weight tracker tools. You'll receive a weekly e-blast newsletter that will provide you with plenty of tips and tricks needed to make it through the challenge as well as special partner discounts and offers. At the end of the session, you'll be provided with an out-of-this-world deal from our participating gyms. This will help you make the right decision to choose a gym of your liking after the session is over to keep up the good work. Post-session gym membership is not required to participate in the challenge.

About Your SocialButterfly

Welcome to Your SocialButterfly, the place to come when you need someone to spark your creative juices for planning your private event. As an entrepreneur, what I've learned most thus far is to treat people the way you want to be treated and work on projects that move you. I pride myself in staying true to myself and not wavering far from the corny, creative professional that I am. Lover of all things different and entertaining, I take something simple and make it spicy.My professional experience dates back to working for a publishing company where, even though I was working on a journalism and public relations degree, I found interest coordinating the company's charity events, vacation retreats and hosting client parties. Upon graduation, I was recruited to work for a corporate residential services company in Orlando managing their marketing, customer service and advertising. A few short years later, I accepted a position working for a statewide association. Seven years in association marketing and special events management and I was able to travel nationwide teaching marketing, event logistics and producing events. Your SocialButterfly was formed as a way to work on private events (bachelorette parties, birthday bashes, specialty board retreats and custom creative themed events) where I could really give my personal spin. My speciality is in taking a pretty basic event idea -- a company board retreat, for example -- and turning into something that will be truly memorable and fun for everyone that participates. From creating games and challenges for your guests (relay races and scavenger hunts, anyone?) to booking the coolest venue (and vendors), events really are my life. I've taken my passion to cities all over including Puerto Rico, Miami, Atlanta and Central Florida. With more than 20 years writing, 15 years planning and 10 years marketing, I've got a great medley to get the job done. If I'm helping you work on something huge, I'll bring in my team of butterflies to help fill in the gaps. So you still get the personal touh of working one-on-one with a personal concierge without losing the extra hands.
